The Princess of Wales also grabbed all the attention during Charles' first state visit to the South African president with her stunning appearance, wearing a gorgeous white dress and a Lover's Knot tiara, a wedding gift from Princess Diana.

Kate Middleton obviously became the focus of the media and was mostly on the front pages because Diana was getting all the headlines.

A royal expert claimed her look was reminiscent of Princess Diana's time at the firm, when she grabbed headlines while members of the royal family and then-Prince Charles were overshadowed by her stunning looks.

Speaking to Palace Confidential, Richard Eden said: "Although Charles is a handsome man, I think we are in the business of selling newspapers. So we want the most attractive person on our front pages."
